Partnerships in The Gambia is looking forward to breaking new ground as we look forward to a fresh approach in working with partners in The Gambia and around the world.
We are grateful to all our supporters who have stood by us and encouraged us to continue in our aim of giving a hand up not just a hand out. The Charity will continue its work but we need your continued support as we look forward to our joint ventures.
You can continue to partner with us by making a regular donation either to our general funds or to a specific project - please let us know which. Or if you prefer you can make a one off donation or join in with one of our future fundraising events. The value of your gift can be enhanced when you “Gift Aid” it so please let us have your details when you send any donations. Regular donations will give us the confidence to make definite plans for the future.
There are many other ways of supporting our aims, as well as financial. You might like to consider organising an event with your friends, such as a Coffee Morning, virtual during the Pandemic, or a sponsored event. In better times you could organise a Ceidlih or pub skittle evening, or maybe Whisky tasting evening - giving can be fun!
Let us know of your plans and we can put them on our Facebook page. We hold regular meetings for supporters and you’ll find details of these on there too.
Partnerships in The Gambia is operated entirely by volunteers, we have no paid staff and the trustees receive neither pay or expenses. If you would like to help us on a day-to-day basis then please let us know. All levels of experience and expertise are invaluable assets which the Charity can use to further its aims. We are particularly interested if you have some experience in fundraising, marketing, or accountancy.
Giving is not simply financial and the volunteering of your time and skill can be a great gift.
